Hello. I am new to using a signal generator remotely (E4435B) and am controlling it using MATLAB and an RS-232 port. I've had it running fine doing "simple" stuff like a pulse modulated signal. I am trying to use the advanced options of the Option UN8 configuration - the Digital Modulation. I was able to do what I wanted with the front panel, and translated that to the following commands (from E4400-90327.pdf):zhyyh zhyyh Code: RAD:CUST:MOD:TYPE BPSKzhyyh zhyyh RAD:CUST:FILT RNYQ zhyyh zhyyh RAD:CUST:ALPH 0.350 zhyyh zhyyh RAD:CUST:CHAN EVM zhyyh zhyyh RAD:CUST:SRAT 15 ksps zhyyh zhyyh RAD:CUST:REP CONT zhyyh zhyyh RAD:CUST:TRIG KEY zhyyh zhyyh RAD:CUST:STAT 1 zhyyh zhyyh zhyyh zhyyh zhyyh zhyyh They all come back with RAD being an undefined header (error -113). Has anybody seen this before?
