pdang | Quote:Can somebody tell me why? No reception in the area. The modem is not turned on. The power supply has blown up. No SIM card. The RS232 line is faulty. The cable is wrong.... I could do this all day with the information you are giving us.

398338 | I check the problem you mention already, but it still cannot. It is connected to PC, everything are ok. The receive and send bytes is almost zero in the window task bar. i think i have to type something command in hyper terminal or some setting in window.Any idea?

lassa | what exactly are you doing? connecting the mobile to ur usb/rs232 com port? and dialing from windows dial up? did you make sure you have the right APN plugged in? if you are connecting an atmega straight to your MC55, thats also possible. I have done it with M55 and atmega128 to make my uWebServer. you will as others say, need to use AT commands.... you must make sure your modem is not connected to the net already before you dial again. the icon on the display for the GPRS connection will tell you if its already connected.

dongyea | After i install the modem driver in window, then i type "AT CGDCONT=1,"IP","APN" (my APN is digiwap) Then I'm using dial up in window to connect it. The problem is i can connect but cannot browse the website. Any other command that I have to key in? Ya, I want to connect my GSM modem to RS232, and dial up from window.

yvling | luvocean1 : "I have done it with M55 and atmega128 to make my uWebServer..." Have you apply a TCP/IP stack with PPP support in your project? Is it a public code? It's interesting to me. The only stack with PPP is LwIP as I know...

ai8957382 | yes i have written my own PPP code and used highly modified tux graphics tcp/ip version on my code. for now its not available for public lol... if i get more work done on it then i may consider
