Like the title says, which LCD KS0107/KS0108 or T6963 or some other?mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh I need relatively fast LCD so it doesn't blur, B/W, 128x64 pix or more, controller with enough info to program and not to pricey(~60-80$).mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh KS0107/KS0108 - till now I used only HD44780, and this confuses me a bit, why two separate ic, it's fastmpuxh mpuxh mpuxh T6963 - ok, but it's slowmpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh So, can someone point out why this and not that one and vice-versa, which is more easy to use, which has more data about it.mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh mpuxh Thanks. |

| 1 | naoge | well man i used gdm 12864a graphical lcd , it uses the controller ks0107/ks0108 . the graphical lcd consistes of 128 columns and 64 rows , as seen by a layman.but in real it consists of 2 parts of 64*64 each. to differentiate between 2 parts there are 2 pins cs1 and cs2 . if you enable both pins then whatever you write on left part of glcd will be displayed on right also. gdm 12864a is easy.....i never used t6963 |

| 2 | fusarium | Thx, I already bought T6963C which was partial mistake, there is very little data for it, although I'm making some progress and as goes KS0107/KS0108 I will get it too, it looks like KS0107/KS0108 is faster because of 'simple design' in reflection to T6963C and it's different memory organization. | 2008/8/28 22:37 |
